CREATION OF A LEGAL ENTITY
On December 11, the company “Varo-Inform” was registered. Based on the Resolution of the Supreme Council of the SSR of Moldova dated July 25, 1990. “On the concept of the transition to a market economy in the SSR Moldova and the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the SSR Moldova “On the procedure for creating and the fundamentals of the activities of small enterprises” The Founding Agreement of September 20, 1990 approved a small enterprise, the information and advertising scientific and technical company “Varo-Inform” .
1991
FIRST OFFICE
The premises were rented as the first office – a room in the hotel of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Moldova on the street. August 31, 1989, no. 135 (today the Dacia Hotel).
1992
RE-REGISTRATION IN THE STATE REGISTER OF THE RM
After the official recognition of the statehood of the Republic of Moldova and the creation of new registers of legal entities, on August 1, 1992. the company was re-registered as the Limited Liability Company “Varo-Inform S.R.L.”
BUYING YOUR OWN OFFICE
The company acquired its permanent address – st. Sechenova, 2B (currently G. Tudor St., 2B), taking out a loan and purchasing residential space in a private house in the municipality. Chisinau, sector Center.
1993
PRINTING DEPARTMENT
The company purchased used printing presses and installed them in technical premises rented from the Moldovan State Conservatory (later referred to as the Music Academy named after G. Muzycescu). A new division of the company was established as a printing house, which since 1996 later became a separate legal entity “Varo-Print” SRL.
START OF PUBLICATION OF THE VARO.MOLDOVA DIRECTORY
Until 2015, publication of the annual business Directory with its own classifier “VARO.MOLDOVA. Producers of goods and services” in paper version.
THE FIRST ADVERTISING STRUCTURE HAS BEEN INSTALLED
The first advertising structure with commercial advertising was installed in the municipality of Chisinau. The beginning of the era of outdoor commercial advertising in Moldova.
1994
ENTRY INTO THE CHAMBER OF MOLDOVA
The company became a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Moldova.
BUILDING INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
The company became a representative of the ITRACO company in Moldova (PVC, paints, equipment for the production of advertising images).
NEW EQUIPMENT
The first plotter in Moldova for cutting self-adhesive color film for designing images and texts was purchased in Germany.

REFERENCE ON DISK
The first electronic version of the VARO Moldova Directory has been released.
1996
GUILD OF PRODUCERS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF ADVERTISING RM
On November 5, by decision of the Board, “Varo-Inform” became one of the founders of the Guild of Advertising Producers and Distributors in the Republic of Moldova.
1997
AWARD FOR QUALITY
The company was awarded the XI International European Prize “For Quality” in Paris.
PARTICIPATION IN MOLDEXPO EXHIBITIONS
“Varo-Inform” has become a regular participant in specialized exhibitions at Moldexpo, Chisinau.
1998
DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGIONS OF THE REPUBLIC
The outdoor advertising department has begun installing advertising structures in the regions of Moldova. The first ones were installed in Balti.
CAR PARK
The first special car lift was purchased. We began to form our own production fleet of special vehicles to carry out work on orders in the field of outdoor advertising.

BUSINESS DAY EDITION
A specialized advertising and information magazine “BUSINESS DAY. Chisinau. Everything a business person needs” was released. The production continued for several years.

UNESCO chose Varo-Inform to provide information support for the ORHEI-98 humanitarian action.
INTERNATIONAL PEACE FORUM
The company’s printed publications were selected by the Government to represent Moldova to participants in the International Peace Forum, organized by UNESCO.
ONLINE DATABASE
The Moldova Yellow Pages website was launched – a search engine that provides information about Moldovan enterprises in almost all areas of economic activity. The presence on the website of a Database of more than 22 thousand actually operating economic agents in Moldova allowed the user to find any necessary information about goods and services. The site is equipped with a convenient search system. The main task is to help any user quickly find what he is looking for – be it a product, service or a specific enterprise.
CONFESSION
A contract was concluded with the global tobacco giant Philip Morris for the placement of Outdoor advertising. In the future and on the pages of the business directory “VARO. Moldova”.
1999
FOR THE FIRST TIME ADVERTISING ON A TROLLEYBUS
For the first time in Moldova, the company decorated trolleybuses with advertising images, commissioned by the food product manufacturer Gallina Blanca.
NEW EQUIPMENT
We purchased equipment for printing plastic cards and the first plotter in the country “Rolland” for dry color printing on self-adhesive film for applying high-quality images, as well as a new large-format cutting plotter.

Signing a memorandum with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova and international organizations on reforming the public procurement system and creating a pilot project (2017-2020) to launch an electronic trading platform. The electronic trading platform YPTENDER.md was developed and launched.

NEW ADVERTISING MEDIA
Purchase and installation in Chisinau of the first imported samples of street furniture in the form of poster stands and pylons for social and commercial outdoor advertising.

ANNIVERSARY
The company celebrated its 30th anniversary. From renting a small hotel room, the company has grown to its own office building with its own production and warehouse complex, a fleet of technological vehicles and a close-knit team.
VIDEO STUDIO
A video studio with additional auxiliary premises was created and equipped, which made it possible to begin filming the “Alo Capitala” program with the host and invited guests, as well as on-site reporting.

NEWS EDITION BUSINESS PAGES

CREATION OF AN ONLINE BUSINESS EDITION
Yellow Business Pages (YBP) is an encyclopedia of business in Moldova, which daily supplements and accumulates news information about the activities of Moldavian business in general and about individual companies.
