We know that each person is unique and that it is virtually impossible to anticipate his or her particular train of thoughts. All programs are created and used by people whom they sometimes divide by their seeming incomprehensibility. In order to prevent this misunderstanding we, the developers of the VARO database, tried here to answer the most frequently asked questions on how to use our program.
Question 1. What to do if search block/companies' table/companies' card do not have enough space for all the information available?
You can change the size of the selected area by dragging the division lines.
Question 2. How much should I know about a company in order to find it in your database?
You can find it, if you know at least one of the following criteria:
- Company name
- Year of formation
- Number of employees
- Telephone and fax numbers
- Type of organization
- Postal code
- District
- Locality
- Street
- Number
- Office
- Dealership
- Web site
- Branch
- Goods and services
Question 3. How to find a company by several criteria simultaneously?
The program offers you two ways to do that:
- by using multicriteria search (defines all the criteria at once);
- by applying a filter on the search results (searchs the database by any filter and then, using the contextual menu, truncates your search results until you find the desired information).
Question 4. I am absolutely positive that a company with such name exists, but I cannot find it in the database. Why?
Unfortunately, our database (like any other) cannot comprise information on all currently existing companies. Quite a few of them are not interested in their own promotion and do not want to be included into any reference media.
Some companies appear, some disappear. An entire department of our company is gathering information on this incessant process. The department is keeping the most detailed database about the enterprises, permanently updating the information on them, introducing new companies and deleting the non-existent ones. The database you are working with is like an instant picture of our actual database.
Question 5. I have found the companies by a certain criterion, but the table displays companies from all over Moldova, while I am interested only in those from Orhei. What do I do?
You can filter your search results by District. Find any company in Оrhei district. Right click on it and choose in the popup menu "Show Only | District = Orhei".
